How does a person learn how to forgive themselves for their past mistakes?
Q. People always talk about how the past is in the past and that we cannot change it, but what if a person still fears repercussions from their past? And that they fear repercussions so much that they are afraid to live life fully because they believe that when they do start to live their life fully, the past will pop up in take all of the person happiness away. How does a person learn how to get rid of those feelings, and learn how to forgive themselves from past mistakes?

A. I don't think the past is meant to be forgotten cause being reminded of the past will help you remember the lesson learnt & prevent you from making the same mistake twice. It also made you who you today. You've got to realize that none of us are perfect and life didn't come with an instructional manual. We all make mistakes. Whats important, is that we actually learn from them and be better individuals. We'll never reach perfection but at least we've got this ideal image of a person in our heads that we wanna be. Think about the good that actually came from those ''mistakes'', what exactly caused a change in you and was it a good one? was it for the best? I don't believe in having regrets. If a person talks about a bad experience to others caused by another is that considered gossip?
Q. For instance, lets say Jane lied about being struck at work, saying Nancy threw something at her, and because she lied about it Nancy, an innocent person got wrote up, if that person began telling everyone what Jane did, would it be considered gossip even though she was telling the truth? Define what gossip is in your opinion. I agree Anaise, but how do you know whether someone is gossiping or spreading facts if you were not involved first hand? Is this when you determine who is gossiping and who is not based upon your personal preference?

A. In a past life I was a Football "GOSSIP" columnist. It was about seeing things that people did, and writing about it . For example a football club life member scaled a cyclone fence to gain entry to the game, " he wasn't expected to pay to get in", because of his life membership, he was saving himself a 1/2k walk, but to me it was "newsworthy"and I made no mention of the walk saving . Problem for the guy was that of 10 life members 7 were dead, one away overseas and the other incapacitated with a leg injury, meaning he was easily identified. For several years after, he was the butt of several members jokes, whilst enjoying a beer after a game,he was often asked if he had paid to get in or had he jumped the fence again. … [cont.]

How does a person find out who call the child abuse hotline?
Q. This person isn't involving a lawyer. Can they find out by asking the judge or social worker if a person isn't planning to fight custody rights?

A. I'm not sure that I understand your question but, generally, judges do NOT answer that kind of question and it's very difficult to get in touch with them since they're not allowed to talk to one side of a case without the other side being present. (That's called ex parte contact and it's prohibited.) Social workers investigating allegations of abuse or neglect generally cannot divulge who called in the report.
