How are the product safety laws and product liability laws in Nigeria?
Q. Hi! I'm making a small presentation at university about China exporting cars to Nigeria. While this is great for the economy, it raises questions about the low quality and potentially dangerous cars that China produces, in developing countries such as Nigeria. I would like to know more about the product safety laws and liability laws in Nigeria. Are there enough regulations to protect consumers from faulty products? What do you think is the benefit for Nigeria and the economy of importing cheap cars that people can afford, compared to Western cars which aren't affordable?
