All 3 of your problems can be eliminated by using "Brush-B-Gone" or "Brush Killer"...which contains the active ingredient called "TRICLOPYR". It is a selective herbicide that controls broadleaved plants without harming grassy types (including turf). Triclopyr works very similar to Roundup by killing the roots after spraying the foliage. I've found it to do an excellent job on brush and vine species. When spraying, you should make sure not to spray when the temperatures exceed 80 degrees and to avoid any sprays to get onto ornamental plants and vegetables. To achieve better results, try mixing a tablespoon of dishsoap into your sprayer AFTER mixing the Triclopyr and water.
