She has successfully escaped 4 times! Once she jumped on top of a trashcan then to behind the fence and was gone for about 5 min when we found her. Another she got off her leash on a walk and we got her after about 3 minutes. Another time she was gone for 4 hours and she had never left our cul-ede-sac!! She got out the front door once and my dad chased her for 2 miles! She is a pro at escaping! I worry anytime I don't see her around, and I was wondering if I could train her somehow to not try to escape? Don't worry, she gets at least two one hour walks/runs a day + lots of running around in the yard, chasing balls ect. Sounds like she needs more exercise, too. She's running away because she's bored and has too much energy. Start doing things with her. Normaly vent pipes are placed into the landfill somewhere to release gas. Clay is also good for gardens , so why remove it? just add some peat or black dirt overtop the clay. Also I don't think gas escaping will hurt your garden any but I wouldn't remove much clay, it is there for a reason.
