What would happen if you were falsely imprisoned and escaped?
Q. Just a what-if. No particular reason to ask this btw. If you were falsely accused of a crime, imprisoned, then escaped and were proven innocent (through DNA or whatever), do you think they would wipe your record of being charged with escaping? I know you would still be in trouble to stealing or assaulting someone during your escape though. B/c I know if I ever get imprisoned for something I didn't do, I would be working on getting out every single day, unless it was a short term. Any thoughts?

A. Interestingly have seen this happen. A man escaped from Alabama in 1960 and was arrested in 2004. Was found not guilty of his original charges and had to be brought back to Alabama for hearing to set the court records straight. Was out on Bond while process took place. So to clear you legally of all charges before you, you would have to appear in many instances before the court, have been some where an attorney or representative can stand in your place proxy.

A. If it lost indoors: Close doors, set up barriers and restrain any large pets (e.g., cat, dogs). Search from room to room and area to area and suspect that they may have fallen down stairs. They do recognize doors as entry and exit points. They are easy to overlook, do not assume that they will not be in a room you have already searched. Look under and behind everything. They can often squeeze horizontally or vertically into crevices and under furniture. Look in tight areas such as between a dresser and the wall. You can be certain they are not somewhere only if you check. If possible, clear the floor as best as you can by stacking your belongings onto chairs and tables to provide you with the clearest possible view of the floor. Listen for… [cont.]

how do you trap an escaped savanna monitor?
Q. I had a savanna monitor lizard he is about 15 inches long who escaped a few days ago from his cage and the front door just happened to be open. Since the I have been searching for him, but I cant seem to find him anywhere. Please let me know how or where to find him.

A. If it's still in your house, your best bet will be to leave out some food and create a basking area in the middle of a room. I needs the heat, so it will use it, it will get hungry so it will eat the food. Sprinkle flour on the floor around the light and food, because if he comes close to it, it will leave a track and a trail of where he might have wandered off to. You could also do this in other areas where he might be wandering to. Another thing to do, that's helped me find escapees, is to lay on the floor and look at the house from their point of view. Any small, dark, tight fitting areas are all potential hiding spots. Under the couches, behind dressers, tv's, etc. Even look under clothes and other things he could wiggle under.… [cont.]
