What are the differences between the fall of man according to Genesis and to the York mystery play?
Q. What are the differences between the fall of man as described in Genesis 1-3 and the Wakefield mystery play "The Fall of Man". Best answer is the one that gives me the most differences. (Feel free to point out the similarities aswell but the differences are my main priority!) Also, USEFUL links are welcome! :)

A. I can't give you a point-by-point analysis without the scripts in front of me, but then again, that sounds likie YOUR homework, not mine. What I can tell you is that once these plays were outside the Church (literally, outside in the open air) and its control, humor began to creep in.

What are the differences and similarities between a 401K in the US and a regulated superannuation Fund in Aus?
Q. I see many questions on here regarding 401K's which i assume are available in the United States. They sound quite similar to Regulated Complying Superannuation Funds in Australia. I have worked in the Superannuation industry in Australia so I understand in detail how Australian super funds work and the rules relating to them. I am specifically looking for information on how a 401K works and, if anybody knows about both superannuation funds and 401K's, what the similarities/differences are. If you only know about 401K's then please put down what you know and I will be able to work out the differences and similarities. My understanding is that 401K's are retirement savings accounts which are preserved until age 62 except in certain… [cont.]

A. Since I spend time in both countries during each year, I can give your info, but from a layman's point of view. The 401 Ks are similar to super funds. The differences are that in the 401K 1) It is not compulsory for employers to contribute. It is also not compulsory for employees to contribute, although they have to realize that their retirement is their own responsibility. 2) Many employers only match the contribution that their employee puts aside, in many cases up to 6% to 10% of the employee's base income. 2) Insurance is only available at the employees expense and if the employee chooses to insure his/her income. 3) 401Ks are sort of like a form of savings. You contribute funds into your 401K account, sort of like dollar… [cont.]

What are the differences between the iPod touch 1st and 2nd generation?
Q. I am getting an iPod touch for Christmas, and I'm most likely getting the 1st generation. From what I can see, there aren't that many differences between the 1st generation and 2nd generation iPod touch...I know of the volume control, the genius feature, and the rounded instead of flat body. I don't care about the body shape that much, but are there any other drastic differences between the 1st and 2nd generations of the iPod touch? i'm talking about speed, calibration, all that stuff. Graphics are also important. Thank you!
Asked by Life In Digital - Sun Dec 7 14:48:40 2008 - - 10 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Cosmetic differences: 1st generation has a black bevel and a flat metal back. 2nd generation has a contoured metal back and wraps around and forms the front bevel. It's Wi-Fi port is also more low profile and stylish with rounded edges. Hardware and software differences: 2nd gen comes with the 2.x updates. It also has an external speaker for casual listening. The accelerometer is also more functional then the 1st. One major difference though is the inability to jailbreak the 2nd gen meaning no 3rd party apps can be installed. There is hardly any graphical enhancements, calibration is the same, and it runs smoother on some apps such as calendar and maps and all of that. The Wi-Fi operates better in my oppinion, I had the 1st gen and… [cont.]

What are the differences between research paper and term paper?
Q. I have to write about the term paper. But I don't know the differences between research paper and term paper. Please explain the differences between them.
Asked by m-angel - Mon May 12 04:40:58 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. A research paper is a very specific type of paper, for which research is required it will include a works cited page, usually with a given minimum number of reputable sources. A term paper is a big umbrella designation that basically indicates a paper of any sort written at the end of a term/semester, usually intended to take an extended period of time and to comprise a large portion of the term grade. So, some term papers are research papers, and some research papers are term papers. Some term papers, though, will not be research papers, because they're written from what you've already learned. Sometimes they may even be subjective, especially in an English class, or they may be based on primary sources such as an interview the… [cont.]

In California what are the differences between a Real estate Broker and a Real Estate Agent?
Q. I am aware of the educational differences (extra classes, seperate exam), but what are the job differences? What makes them so different that they get different licenses? And finally is there a big salary difference? I am in California and looking for info specific to here. Thank you in advance!
Asked by bookdevotee - Tue Sep 11 20:23:06 2007 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The broker is the person with the supervisory responsibility for the agents in the office. Agents work under the supervision of the broker. Most of the time you must have at least some experience as an agent before you can apply for a broker's license, although California will waive that for people that have a four-year degree from a regionally accredited college. Since very few real estate salespeople or brokers actually draw a salary, the second part of your question is difficult to answer. Brokers may (but don't always) get a percentage of the commission from each agent working under them. It depends on the contract that the agent has with the broker. I know several agents that are making far more than their brokers, although… [cont.]

What are the differences between a camcorder and a professional video camera?
Q. Are there huge differences in the video quality you can get from a HD consumer camcorder and a little "professional" cameras...the type videographers and local news stations use on location. What are the other main differences in capability?
Asked by malindabrook - Fri Oct 3 16:31:27 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Consumer camcorders have small lenses and small imaging chip(s). This combination results in their not doing too well in low-light situations. Prosumer and pro-grade camcorders have much larger lenses and larger imaging chips. Consumer camcorders' manual controls are generally not easily accessible. Prosumer and pro-grade camcorders have easily accessible manual zoom, manual focus, manual iris/exposure, manual shutter and manual audio controls... and neutral density filters and video gain control. Many consumer camcorders generally do not have any mic jack or other audio-in capability other than the built-in mics. A few have a 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo mic jack (but generally no manual audio control). Prosumer models generally have a 1/8" (3.5m [cont.]

What are the differences between cigars and cigarettes?
Q. Does one contain more or less chemicals? And what are the differences between actually smoking cigars and cigarettes? Is one actually better for you than the other? And is there a difference in the way you smoke a cigar or cigarette?
Asked by vvilledb43 - Thu Jul 19 15:24:09 2007 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments

A. they differ in size and in tobacco use. Cigar smoking causes a variety of oral cancers, including cancers of the lip, tongue, and oral cavity, and also the associated cancers of the pharynx, esophagus, and larynx. Many of these types of cancers have extremely low cure rates. For example, only 11 percent to 14 percent of patients with esophageal cancers survive five years after diagnosis.

What are the differences between Chevrolet Trucks?
Q. My friend and I are looking for a tough working and comfortable pick up truck, we wanted to get the Chevrolet Silverado, but all the trims and models are freaking us out. There are the HD1500, HD2500, and HD3500 and I do not know what is all the big differences between these 3, and the next hard part is all the trims, like the LT or LTZ or what ever. Please tell me what is the difference between all the models and trims, or any suggestions to get which one of the model and trim. Thank you. And should I get the 4WD or the 2WD?
Asked by ArTe.TBNK. - Tue Apr 6 17:53:37 2010 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The 1500 is a 1/2 ton, the 2500 is a 3/4 ton and the 3500 is a one ton. You can get the 2500 and 3500 in the dually or singular rear wheels. The tonnage is the payload, or how much weight you can safely carry in the bed. The more payload, the more you can tow too. So if you plan on towing a boat or a trailer, find out the weight of it and buy your truck accordingly. The LT is the middle trim. It has standard features such as cloth split front seat, A/C, cruise, CD, fog lights, etc. The LTZ is the top of the line and has leather, bucket seats, dual power seats, XM, Onstar, etc standard. 2 or 4WD? That's strictly up to you. It depends on your needs. If most of your driving is on city pavement, 2WD will do just fine. But if you live in… [cont.]

What are the specific differences in sound from a sousaphone and a contra tuba for marching band?
Q. i play contra for my high school and in marching band competitions, other schools have sousaphones. but i never really heard what a sousaphone sounds like. i know they're the same thing except sousaphone is more appropriate for marching but any sound differences? can anyone tell me the difference?
Asked by Raymond C - Sun Nov 9 23:27:48 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Sousaphone is a bit simpler to start using, honestly -- put it on, get the bits right, and go. But, that simplicity can be offset by drill demands that weren't in existence when the sousaphone was invented. Contra is even simpler, hardware-wise. However, it puts more responsibility on the performer to use correct posture and technique -- because while a mediocre-marching sousaphone section still doesn't look too bad, a mediocre-marching contra section looks pretty awful. Sousaphones pointing at slightly different angles really don't look too different from each other; contras pointing at slightly different angles make it look like the section doesn't know WTF they're doing. The sousaphone touches your hip. That causes visible bell… [cont.]

What are the metabolic differences and effects between Arctic birds and reptiles?
Q. Reptiles do not live in the Arctic; however, some birds do live in the Arctic even though they evolved from reptiles. Why is this and what are the metabolic differences between the two groups? What is the effect of the metabolic differences have on their relationship with the environment? Thank you to all who helps!! =)
Asked by Lexxi - Sat May 31 02:04:39 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. The main difference is that birds are warm-blooded, and reptiles are cold-blooded. That means that birds can regulate their body temperature, and reptiles rely on the environment for heat. That is why reptiles can't live in the arctic, they will freeze to death, and birds, as well as all other warm-blooded animals, can live in almost any environment. Birds are thought to have evolved from reptiles, but no one knows for sure.

What differences are there between the popular usage and actual definitions of the following words?
Q. These are the actual definitions of these words. Karma- good and bad deeds or acts in a person's previous or present life which will determine the quality of the next incarnation. Reincarnation- Being born again into a new body. Yoga- A Hindu system of meditation and self-control. Guru- A spiritual teacher who is considered to be a divine manifestation. Chakras- Certain areas along the spine that centers energy. Now I need the differences of the popular usage verses the actual definitions.

A. well, people always say "don't do that, that's bad karma" meaning it's an act in this life that will come back to haunt you also in the present life. people always use reincarnation to describe the reinvention of old ideas, like a reincarnation of a horror movie. yoga is considered to be done in l.a. and by soccer moms, a guru is anyone who is proficient at what they do, and chakras i haven't heard except by traditional definition

Q. In my govt class we are debating the differences between our governments political parties views. I researched the main difference but am still apprehensive to begin debate without knowing some basic principles of each. Any information will help, thanks
Asked by artsyfartsy - Mon May 11 20:43:47 2009 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Until quite recently the differences were quite small. Now it seems that the Republican party has skewed well to the right of center. They support the rights of big corporations over the rights of individuals, and always lower taxes for the rich. But aside from that, the big difference is that the Democrats are in charge and running the government, while the Republicans are out of power, have no interest in participating in bipartisan governing, and are actively working to marginalize themselves. )
