Canada (pronounced /ˈkænədə/) is a country occupying most of northern North America, extending from the Atlantic Ocean in the east to the Pacific Ocean in the west and northward into the Arctic Ocean. It is the world's second largest country by total area and shares the world's longest common border with the United States to the south and northwest. The land occupied by Canada was inhabited for millennia by various groups of Aboriginal people. Beginning in the late 15th century, British and French expeditions explored, and later settled along, the Atlantic coast. France ceded nearly all of its colonies in North America in 1763 after the Seven Years' War. In 1867, with the union of three British North American colonies through Confederation, Canada was formed as a federal dominion of four provinces. This began an accretion of provinces and territories and a process of increasing autonomy from the United Kingdom. This widening autonomy was highlighted by the Statute of Westminster of 1931 and culminated in the Canada Act of 1982, which severed the vestiges of legal dependence on the British parliament. A federation comprising ten provinces and three territories, Canada is a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy, with Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state. It is a bilingual and multicultural country, with both English and French as official languages both at the federal level and in the province of New Brunswick. Technologically advanced and industrialized, Canada has a diversified economy reliant upon its abundant natural resources and upon trade—particularly with the United States, with which Canada has had a long and complex relationship. It is a member of the G8, NATO, OECD, WTO, the Commonwealth of Nations, the Francophonie, the OAS, APEC, and the United Nations. From Wikipedia under the

Q. I'm quite confused right after I choose print the shipping label and choose Canada Post as the shipping carrier on ebay what do I've to do from there on? Do I've to measure the dimensions and weight myself cause I don't have a scale. Asked by bodhihoang - Wed Jun 11 11:42:32 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. If you've already printed the shipping label, the measurements are specified in order to pay for the shipping price. You just have to attach the label onto the package and put it in the mail. For instance, if you chose "Thick envelope or small package" it will calculate for you. However, it asked for the weight to charge your account for the label. You may wish to verify what you entered. Q. i want to be a commercial pilot for Air Canada and i was wondering what was included in the medical exam given by transport Canada. The name of the exam is "Category 1 medical certificate" from Transport Canada. Please tell me those requirements... i know all of the other requirements to be a pilot. Asked by rick13312002 - Tue Aug 22 17:30:15 2006 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. The best answer is to actually go and get the exam done. That way you don't waste any money if you can't get the medical. It's usually the first step in getting your license and required before you solo (~13hrs flight time). Here is a table of requirements from the Transport Canada website... But the best thing would be to contact a flight school and get an address of a Medical Examiner. Have a nice day Asked by hdavuluri - Mon Dec 1 04:26:38 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. There is a new site for immigration to America and visitors to America. I will look up the URL and attach it. You must be extremely careful to follow all ules for both Canada and U. S. The rules for entering the United States from Canada are changing--you will have to show your passport each time you cross the border between the two countries, and probably answer immigration questions and fill out forms. Here is the new link: Information on visiting the United States is on the top left of the home page of the link above. It should answer all your questions. Best wishes on your plans.
