Actually the full question is, "In Wundt's 1893 edition of Physiological Psychology, he published the 'tridimensional theory of feeling', how did Wundt's use of introspection aid in this theory's development?" can anyone help??

A. Introspection was a primary tool used by Wundt. It involves the monitoring of ones own mental processes. Wundt used introspection to help understand the nature of emotions and feelings. This meant that he conducted experiments in which he and colleagues would carefully and rigorously monitor and record their own mental processes during the course of the experiments. Through this process, he came to believe that feelings could be classified as pleasant or unpleasant, tense or relaxed, or excited or depressed. Furthermore, any feeling could contain feelings from each of the three categories. He called this the trideimensional theory of feeling.
