How is it possible to be bigoted against a behavior?
Q. People who object to the ACT of sex between two members of the same gender are often labeled homophobic. So, according to that logic, are those who object to fornication bigoted against unwed mothers? Last time I checked, it was NEVER considered hateful to disapprove of another's actions, right? If it is possible to be bigoted against a behavior, where's the line that separates which actions one can be bigoted against and which actions one can't be bigoted against? Way to go, Aurora Dawn. Thank you for being a broken record and not even assessing the validity of my point!

A. It all boils down to a difference of definitions. The religious folks consider homosexuality to be a human behavior. All humans are born heterosexual but engage in homosexual acts because they have been tempted to sin ...Furthermore the religious side of the debate sees homosexual behavior only in the context of sex and does not seperate love from sex which is why it is so often connected with the act of sodomy. The non-religious folks believe homosexuality is an innate human characteristic. One is born heterosexual or homosexual and does not have a say in choosing their orientation. Given the religious folk's definition of homosexuality, it wouldn't be considered bigotry. But from the other side of the argument that's what it looks and… [cont.]

What do you have against the other candidate that IS relevant to the election?
Q. If you are against any of the candidates or their VPs, why are you against them? Please don't say because I support the other one and tell me things that we care about. Not any gossip or stuff that is not important.

A. I could blister Obama with a laundry list of negatives, but his blank resume alone scares me off. Saw an interview where Obama supporters were asked to name just one of the senator's accomplishments. Nobody -- NOBODY -- could come up with anything. How does someone like that get the kind of support he's getting? Unbelievable.

A. The purpose of doing your debate is probably to learn how to ARGUE. The MAIN purpose is probably not to find scientific evidence about 2012. You are not going to find a lot of scientific evidence against the world ending in 2012 (and NOT because the world is going to end in 2012). You can start by forming solid inductive or deductive arguments that support what scientific evidence you can find. To tackle this debate, you need to learn the difference between a good argument (which is either deductive or inductive) and a bad argument (which will include one of several "fallacies"). What are the arguments against conservative Economics and where can I find information about it?
Q. I am looking specifically for an argument against the claim that taxes on employers are eventually paid by the employee. Other arguments against other topics are also welcome.

A. There are no arguments against being fiscally conservative [ not to be confused with being politically right-wing ], people misuse the words conservative and liberal.Fiscal conservatism is the economic philosophy of prudence in government spending and debt.In other words, a government does not have the right to run up large debts and then throw the burden on the taxpayer; the taxpayers' right not to be taxed oppressively takes precedence even over paying back debts a government may have imprudently undertaken. So a 'conservative' Govt. does not actually indulge in conservative economics , quite the opposite as they are more likely to be involved in wars, with the huge [ taxpayer ] cost these incur.

I know that Patrick Henry wasn't to happy about it because there wasn't a Bill of Rights in it origionally. 3. A. Try google scholar for academic research papers, there has been a lot of research done into gats education! I did a paper on this topic last year at uni, and something I found was that many studies found little or no academic advantage to these students to being put into a separate class. When gifted and talented students are in a mixed ability class, they are able to help other students (peer teaching) which is of advantage to all students (there is heaps of research on this too!) Hope this helps!

How does a loan indexed against a basket of currencies work?
Q. A couple of year s ago. I took out an auto loan and the lender in the country I am living in indexed the loadn against a basket of currencies. Everything seemed to be going fine until recently when the currency of the country I am living in started to depreciate against other currencies. I notice that my new principal took a hit in the upward direct by approximately the same percentage as the decline in the local currency so I now owe more than I did a year ago. If my currency here recovers to previous levels will the principal also go down?

How can a model sail car go against a headwind?
Q. Can a small model sail car go against a headwind? If so, what is the best shape/orientation of the sail? If that is not possible, what other designs (which are powered by the headwind itself) are capable of traveling against a headwind?

A. You won't be able to go straight into the wind. You'll have to tack into the wind, just like a sail boat does. I recommend you study up on how a sailboat works, and use those same tactics with your sail car.

What is the approriate form cause of action against an insurance company that won't indemnify a defendant?
Q. A defendant is being sued in federal court and contends that his insurance company should be paying for the litigation as well as any potential award. What is the approriate action against the insurance company? Do you file an interpleader action to join the insurance company to the existing case, do you seek a declaratory judgment against the insurer in a separate action, or is there a third option I'm not considering?
Asked by Rob - Fri Oct 12 10:51:12 2007 - - 1 Answers - 1 Comments
A. It depends - are you the plaintiff or the defendant? I assume you are the defendant. You cannot file an interpleader - that would only be the option for a third person/entity who is not currently a party to the lawsuit and wants to be a party to the lawsuit. You have two options: 1. File a complaint for breach of contract and declaratory relief (and ask for the two actions to be consolidated); OR 2. File a cross-complaint for breach of contract (you have a contract with the insurance company) and declaratory relief. In either option, you have to determine whether there is diversity of citizenship between the parties (everyone is a citizen of a different state and for the insurance company - its place of incorporation or principal… [cont.]

A. It depends - are you the plaintiff or the defendant? I assume you are the defendant. How is making a law against using cell phones while driving a violation of rights?
Q. How is making a law against using cell phones while driving a violation of rights What rights does it violate? Does it connect to the constitution? Thanks :)

A. There is NO violation of 'rights'...because there is nothing in the constitution that SAYS you have the RIGHT to endanger other people while driving...the constitution was written BEFORE cellphones and cars...so why do morons think they have a 'constitutional right' when it doesn't exist?

A. This was my team when I went against her: Infernape lv 52, Gastrodon lv 52, Torterra lv 52, Golem lv 52, Zubat lv 52, Luxray lv 52. What you need to do is to disable Spiritomb as quick as possible, then your main concern is Milotic, and Garchomp. Milotic has Ice Beam and Garchomp will get you with Curse + Attack. I did struggle at the end with them. The last battle was basically Garchomp vs Torterra, which my Torterra won with a powered up Curse + Earthquake
