A. I have the Roadrunner Lite version, which I downgraded to from the Premier version, after my job stopped paying the bills. There are no additional costs other than taxes. There are no contracts, and its not a teaser rate, so it doesnt jump up in 6 months or anything. I will say though, its faster than dialup, but its a lot slower than the service I used to have. I really notice the difference if Im uploading pictures or downloading something big. If you mainly do email, ebay, stuff like that, then it will be perfect for you. If you are doing some hard core stuff that really needs fast speeds, you'll likely be disappointed. From your description though, it sounds like a perfect fit to me.

I got so frustrated after almost 10 minutes of repeating and hearing this guy just insists i dont get any money back that I hung up to prevent any further mental anguish and permanent damage. It was like talking to an android.

A. I would stop. It is called voting with your feet. not in this particular case but in general, If people who are running businesses do something that I think is wrong, I don't use them.

Q. I really don't like how HBO is doing the whole secret Mormon ritual thing on Big Love. I have Time Warner Cable/Internet and I have used AOL. What are the reasons you should/shouldn't cut ties?
