What is the difference between the 2nd generation ipod Touch and the 3rd generation?
Q. There is a 16GB 2nd generation ipod touch on sale, for $20 more than ann 8GB ipod touch (3rd generation). What is the difference between the two generations, and which do you think I should buy?

A. I wouldn't get either. I would get the iPod touch 3rd generation 32gb. It is the same price as the 16gb of the 2nd generation (not on sale). It is worth the investment and I am actually answering this question using the 32gb 3rd gen. right now! Definitely worth it.

A. The new 8GB has the voice memo feature and landscape keyboard, which the previous ones do not have. You'll have a hard time finding a new 16GB. If you do find one, it will still be almost as expensive as the new 32GB because the discount is taken off the original price which was much higher than the new ones.
